It's odd how, as the year ends, activity seems to multiply. Maybe it's the holidays and all they involve but November and December seem to pass by in a blur. There's shopping for food and cooking, baking, shopping for presents, decorating, wrapping, more baking, but there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day.
Especially when you work from home, it's easy to get so wrapped up in being busy you forget why you're busy. Taking cookies to the neighbor isn't just a check on the to do list, it's so I can slow down and see what's going on in someone else's life.
That's one reason why I thought it would be fun to participate in the
Mistletoe Madness blog hop. Yeah, I know, it's one more thing to do but with a difference. People. More than that, people I genuinely like. So today, I plan to leisurely visit each of these talented writers and their blogs. I wish I could bring cookies but sadly they don't transfer well into cyberspace.
