Mistletoe Madness Blog Hop

It's odd how, as the year ends, activity seems to multiply. Maybe it's the holidays and all they involve but November and December seem to pass by in a blur. There's shopping for food and cooking, baking, shopping for presents, decorating, wrapping, more baking, but there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day.

Especially when you work from home, it's easy to get so wrapped up in being busy you forget why you're busy. Taking cookies to the neighbor isn't just a check on the to do list, it's so I can slow down and see what's going on in someone else's life.

That's one reason why I thought it would be fun to participate in the Mistletoe Madness blog hop. Yeah, I know, it's one more thing to do but with a difference. People. More than that, people I genuinely like. So today, I plan to leisurely visit each of these talented writers and their blogs. I wish I could bring cookies but sadly they don't transfer well into cyberspace.

So stop by and visit each of these talented, and interesting writers. Best yet? Comment for a chance to win an awesome prize: A brand new Nook preloaded with books from participating authors! To enter for a chance to win the grand prize, click HERE. There are also over 50 giveaways at various blog locations. Such as this one. ; ) Anyone who comments on this blog is entered to win an electronic copy of Altered Destiny. 5. You are right about the hussle and bussel during this season seeming like it doubles, I think maybe it is the weather and the excitment of the holidays, it is like we wait all year long for this moment to come so we can show our love ones how much we care.

I love visiting others and making new friends and this hop is just absolutely fantastic.

    Merry Christmas

  6. What I love about the hop is getting the chance to see writers that I may not have had the opportunity to come across before. What it mainly teaches me however is that I really need an E-Reader so I can enjoy the top talent thats out there.

  8. It sure would be cool, if you could share your cookies with us on your blog, but since this isn't Star Trek, it's not likely to happen in our lifetimes. Maybe the next generation will figure out how to do that.
